As founder and Artistic Director of Switzerland’s most visible Youth Orchestra as well as of the internationally acclaimed music theater project “Verona 3000”, Joseph Sieber has brought together hundreds of young musicians and cultural figures from all over Switzerland, playing for thousands of audiences at home and abroad every year.
He graduated with high distinction from the Royal Northern College of Music (UK), conducting the BBC Philharmonic in concert and held a doctorate and assistant conductor position at Arizona State University. In 2023 he was a Conducting Fellow at the Lucerne Festival (CH) and the Cabrillo Festival (USA).
En tant que fondateur et directeur artistique de l’orchestre de jeunes le plus en vue de Suisse et du projet de théâtre musical de renommée internationale “Verona 3000”, Joseph Sieber a réuni des centaines de jeunes musiciens et de personnalités culturelles de toute la Suisse, jouant chaque année devant des milliers de spectateurs en Suisse et à l’étranger.
Il est diplômé avec grande distinction du Royal Northern College of Music (Royaume-Uni), où il a dirigé l’Orchestre philharmonique de la BBC en concert, et a obtenu un doctorat et un poste de chef d’orchestre assistant à l’Arizona State University. En 2023, il a été chef d’orchestre au Festival de Lucerne (CH) et au Festival Cabrillo (USA).
Als Gründer und künstlerischer Leiter des bekanntesten Jugendorchesters der Schweiz und des international anerkannten Musiktheaterprojekts “Verona 3000” hat Joseph Sieber Hunderte von jungen Musikern und Kulturschaffenden aus der ganzen Schweiz zusammengebracht, die jedes Jahr vor Tausenden von Zuschauern im In- und Ausland spielen.
