In November, Zofia Neugebauer joins Teodor Currentzis and the Utopia Orchestra for a six-city European tour. The programme pairs Shostakovich’s Violin Concerto No. 1, with Daniel Lozakovich as soloist, and Stravinsky’s Le Sacre du printemps.
Founded by Currentzis in 2022, Utopia brings together musicians from across the world, invited anew for each project. Zofia regularly plays principal flute with the orchestra. The tour opens on 6 November at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées in Paris and continues to Baden-Baden, Munich, Berlin and Antwerp before closing at the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg.
