Simple Symphony

The SYMPHONIC JUKEBOX is one of several complementary formats for symphony orchestras, developed, produced and distributed by the educational initiative for institutions worldwide. The format was conceived and realised as a pilot project with the Lucerne Festival Academy in the summer of 2025. It is now adaptable and open for booking by orchestras and institutions.

The REPERTOIRE ORCHESTRA is a free participatory orchestra of a special kind, open to enthusiastic amateurs, music students and professional musicians. Participants explore lesser-known gems of the symphonic repertoire under professional guidance, deepen their knowledge of orchestral literature and skills, and connect with like-minded musicians. Since 2024, these symphonic jam sessions have taken place in various Swiss cities. The orchestra is newly formed for each session and at each location. Participation is possible on a session-by-session basis: individual dates, individual sessions, separate registrations. Participation is free of charge.

LECTURE CONCERTS are a compact concert format in which music and presentation are interwoven, enabling a deeper experience and understanding of the music through appealingly conveyed content and live sound examples. In June 2026, Lecture Concerts will be introduced to the public in collaboration with KunstKreisLuzern. From autumn 2026 onwards, the format can be implemented with minimal effort in a wide range of contexts, with your orchestra, in your city, for your audience.
